Happiness is all you need. My Article #9

Happiness: A simple yet powerful word that can start a new beginning, or change you perhaps. It is capable of doing a lot of things as it could make or break lives. It could turn strangers in to lovers, turn an idiot to a poet, lead a lost should find its way home or give a shattered heart its new hope. It could complicate things too but what do one care about complication? Most people commonly choose to decide from their heart over their mind. We follow what our heart desires and not what the mind suggests. I, too, am one of those. Eventually, more often than not, things doesn’t work out as we thought it would be and we get hurt. But the hell with bad endings; the future is always uncertain and we only get to live once.

Happiness is hard to define, but most people are aware of whether they are happy or not; they just don't know how. Majority of people believe that happiness is just for luck, and some people are destined to be happy and some aren't. Happiness could not be determined immediately and at any point in the person’s life that happiness could actually only be noticeable towards the end, after they lived it fully, whether not they lived the happy or unhappy life. The word “happiness” comes from a root word ‘hap’ which means luck/chance/fate and that’s why a hapless person is somebody without any luck. The idea of happiness is that when you yourself is believing that you're actually pleased with something. It’s being pleased of what a law or god decreed for you that is true happiness.

People in the world become wretched because they don't accept circumstances that aren't good for them. Well of course, you can't change what has already happened, but you can still enjoy the present - continually dwelling in your past is a sign that you're not properly using your intellect.

I suggest we make the best out of it. We should starting living each day with each passing second, start laughing until we cry, start making memories and get hurt once in a while. What matters is that we chose happiness and we made a decision for ourselves. Don't be afraid to fail for it happens to everybody: it happens to me, it will happen to you and it could happen to anyone. Just be happy and don't give in to what others would say or think. Make the world your empire where you are the king or queen.  Aside from God, you should never be a servant to anyone.
